Hi Readers,
So I know I have been terrible with keeping up with my blog and there is no excuse. Just please take it easy on me. Law school literally skips by in huge chunks. Ca you believe the first semester is over already? whoa. I can remember my first day like it was yesterday. I can even remember what I was wearing!!!
So about my living arrangements, of course I don't live at home any more. I live 20 mins away from my uni in a very nice town. I love living there , more than anything I love living in the student block that I do now.
The most exciting thing is the fire alarm. That baby goes off more than anything I've ever known and most of it is just faults. The residents hates when it goes off but it's gone off so many times that it's just crying wolf when it goes off. It got to the point where when I do hear the alarm, I through my duvet over my head and wish it to shut up because there is no fire and the damn thing needs checking!
So I've made friends that I already adore. After 5 months I can honestly say that I am comfortable around them and man the shit we get up to is hilarious. I can't even put into words the ridic situations we put our selves in. It's gotten so bad that now we are super tight with security. It's insane.
So, I was supposed to go on holiday but for whatever reasons God did not allow it to happen so where am I instead? At work. Which isn't so bad because it's a fun environment and I need to money. I am also apartment hunting too which allows me time to do so. I don't need the place until September but I would really like to know what my options are. So I start classes again in Feb which is two weeks away so I can still be 'semi-lazy' even though I have to wake up half 7 in the morning. Not too bad though. I can sleep when I'm dead. So I'm looking for places to do intern work but that all depends on my grades. Yes I have sat my first ever uni exam and as soon as it was finished, I left it all in the examination hall and haven't thought about it since. But now I am thinking about it including all the other coursework because my future kinda-sorta- really depends on it.
Anyway, back to work. Hope all of you had a brilliant Christmas.
